I just a really nice long article but Google somehow did not allow me to post it. Then by accident I want back to the previous site and all was gone :-(.

I have been very busy the last few weeks and months with many new projects, which allowed only little time for personal projects such as this one. I had a major publication in the Extraordinary Vision magazine published for free on iTunes about the image processing techniques using luminosity masks. I also landed a few new clients such as +Red Bull and other for my images.

Anyhow, this shot obviously taken in Paris is one I really wanted to get in while I was there. We drove to Paris and arrived late afternoon. After checking in, we headed straight for the Montparnasse tower to witness what turned out a stunning sunset. The timing between enough light in the sky and dark enough for the city to illuminate was just perfect. I am happy the way it turned out in the end.

Shot with a Nikon D800 and a Nikkor 16-35 f/4 lens on a +Induro AT-114 Tripod. Processed in Adobe Photoshop CS6 using luminosity masks. If you want to learn more about this non-destructive image workflow processing techniques, you can visit my website. The tutorial for a single RAW image workflow is further down the page. In addition to this, +Sean Bagshaw provides a great video series combined with the TK-Actions by +Tony Kuyper and his extensive written tutorials.

Feel free to comment, +1 and share the image.
