All Fine Art Prints will be printed on Canson photo paper or Fuji Crystal DPII, whichevery ou want to choose. My personal favorite the Canson Baryta Photographique is world-class paper with a warm tone. It's heavy and well printed in a boutique printing shop in Munich, Germany. The alternative and more economical choice of Fuji Crystal DPII is the most well-known and most used photo paper today. It's glossy in its surface, relatively easy to handle and the more affordable choice. After your purchase, I will contact you for the paper details such as matte or glossy finish. I am happy to adjust to your requirements if you have any other paper preference or questions.
Premium Frames are single-piece hand made frames from a small family-owned framing shop in Southern Germany. As per default the wood is a very solid European beech. The wood which is used for my Premium Frames is specially selected to be best in color, structure and moisture to be a long-lasting perfect frame. The frame itself is 3cm wide on all sides and has a depth of 2,6cm. All frames come with a ready-to-hang gallery type hangers.
The passepartout (mat) is a museum-grade passepartout (mat), which is 6cm on each side of the image. The image itself shows a 1,5cm border around the image, which shows the fine structure and fine detail of paper. I usually sign all images on the 1,5cm image border on the lower right hand side between the actual image and the passepartout, but will inquire with you beforehand. The print iteself is mounted on a solid foam-core board to keep it perfectly flat. The back is also completely sealed against dust and moisture (please note that in the image below no seal has been applied!).
The standard glass for Premium Frames is 100% UV Gallery Plexiglas from Evonik with a minimum of 30 years guarantee against UV. Alternatively, I can also supply non-reflective 100% UV Gallery Plexiglas at no additional cost.
Acrylic Glas Mounting ("Face Mount Acrylic Print") is the highest quality mounting option available. The actual print is the same, even if you choose to simply order the photographic print. The special glass has a positive effect on the luminosity of the colors, reinforces the depth of the photo and gives it an impressive brilliance. On top of the optical advantages, acrylic is also lighter and more shatter-proof than conventional glass. It also protects the artwork from UV radiation naturally, meaning that the colours shine intensively for a long time. Also, Acrylic Prints are suitable for outdoor use - water and weather resistant! Face mounted prints can be either FujiFlex or Fuji Crystal Archive DPII paper.

Upon request, I can also add a front and back mat with the print and sign as well on the front mats' bottom right hand corner. I will get back to you and ask for any specifics before shipping your Limited Edition Print.
The size shown on the product page always represents the longest edge of the image. The other side will be in relation to the longest side.
Example: 60cm (24") in standard 2:3 image format will have final dimensions of 60cm x 40cm (24x16"). A photo in size 90cm (36") in a standard 2:3 format will have final dimensions of 90x60cm (36x24"). As not all images are in standard format in order to best show the artists intention, there would be simply too many sizes to list. If you have questions about the final size of your image please feel free to contact me.
The size with the mounting option Premium Framing always represents the print size and not the frame size! The frame will of course the larger than the image.
All frames have a width of about 3cm (1 1/4") and a depth of 2,6cm (1"). All frames come with gallery mounting system, so you can hang them directly on your wall.
The passepartout (or mat) is museum grade-quality and is 6cm wide on all sides of the images. The image itself has another 1,5cm border to show the fine detailed structure of the paper. All in all, you can add about 18cm (7") in width to the chosen image size.
The chosen size of Acrylic Face Mount prints are exactly the same as the print sizes. Since Acrylic Face Mounts require a certain size to show, I only offer these types of mountings options starting at 75cm (30") on the longest edge. Acrylic Face Mounts represent my most popular products among customers.
